When we used to board him, he would usually be agitated and exhausted when we picked him up. With Privileged Pets' at home service, he is relaxed and happy to see us when we come home. The two young women who alternate visiting him, Hollie and Nellie, are as sweet as can be and Clifford really likes them. They walk and feed him, administer any medications he is taking, water my plants indoors and out, bring in the papers, and leave us a note to tell us how he did after each extended visit. They have accommodated us on more than one occasion when we suddenly had to leave town and scheduled a visit at the last minute. I recommend them wholeheartedly. |

I chose them over the others featured in Pet Sitters International locator line for 2 primary reasons: All the sitters are previous clients & the bios & pictures made them "real". My girls are not especially friendly, but warmed up to Fiona & Donna within a couple of days......now it is a case of Puppy love for all concerned. Privileged Pets comes to my home daily to give my dachsies a nice mid day walk then my pups get snuggles, cuddles, fresh water & treats. When I travel,Privileged Pets comes 3 times a day and give the girls extra TLC to make up for "mom" being gone. After another trainer urged us to have our 1 yr old Stafforshire Terrier (Daisy) put to sleep because she was a fear biter we decided to get a second opinion. Thank God we did, come to find out, she was biting out of fear, but Jack is teaching us why and what to do about it. He has taught us to build confidence and discipline in her. Because our dog bit so hard and so often when picked up, I was reduced to wearing oven mitts for protection. After our Corgi, my husband and I attended six lessons with Jack Richards, we now have a pet that is a joy to have around. Jack trains dogs effectively and humanely. We were so impressed by his genuine concern for our pet and the others in his care, that we entrusted Jack and Fiona to kennel our Corgi. Brody came back healthy and even more well-behaved than when we left him. |

In June of 2003 he donated a Labrador Retriever to the department which he trained for narcotic detection work. In a relatively short time the dog had found several large quanities of narcotics and cash. He has been a terrific addition to the department. | Comment: | Molly Gabby Bob and Doree: Mom was a little hesitant about getting us a pet sitter. She didn't like the idea of leaving us alone in the house. However we barked her into it as we didn't want to make the VERY long drive to Dallas. Brooke was very nice. She told mommy we were very well behaved but I'm sure she fibbed a little. We can be very mouthy when we don't get our way. Mommy was glad to see us when we got home, but then she drug us all the way to Rockport,TX. It took almost FIVE hours because some road was closed. We wish we coulda stayed home to play with Brooke some more. Oh well...maybe next time. |

| Comment: | Jack didn't realize when we were training Molly and then Gracie a year later that our visiting during training would save Gracie's life. Sat. night (around midnight) Gracie found a rat bait outside and ingested part of it. Jack had told me when they work with police dogs they always carry peroxide in their kits. If the narcotic dog should break through a bag they find you have to make sure none goes into their system. You squirt the peroxide down their throat, everything in their stomach will come up, and then you follow through with water. The vet added an hour after the peroxide give them a piece of bread. Three days later there was sunshine so Molly, Gracie and Judy went to walk in the park thanks to what I learned from Jack. I cannot begin to thank Jack enough!!! |

We no longer have to disrupt our dogs' lives by putting them in a kennel for up to a week at a time. Now, they stay in our home with Brooke, who stays overnight with them. Brooke even calls me on my cell phone to give me periodic updates. Fiona, the owner, is also an extremely nice person who knows me by my first name. Fiona was always patient and caring with him, letting him set the pace during her visits. When he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, I received such a sweet card from her, it really let me know that she truly cares for the pets entrusted to her. I now have another sheltie, and although I don't need their services daily as before, any time I call they are ready and willing to help out. Brooke comes in, goes above and beyond in service, and I come home to a happy dog and a detailed note letting me know about the visit. As long as Privileged Pets is available to help me with my pet care, I wouldn't consider using any other service. Their care and consideration give me the freedom to do my job without worrying about my pet. |

Having three cats, it's always so hard to leave them locked in a cage at the vet's office with barking dogs and strange surroundings. They always seem so traumatized by the whole experience. But when Jaime (our pet sitter) came to our home to meet me and the cats, I immediately knew it was the right choice. Jaime was so sweet and very competent...I knew the cats would be in good hands. And when we did come back home there was a nice long note letting us know how everything went and of course the cats were all fine! Also,everything was so neat and clean by their food dishes, cat boxes etc. Jaime did a great job and this actually came out much less expensive than leaving them in a clinic...but mostly the cats seemed much happier and that was the most important thing to me! My dog hated my husband's dog and was quite vicious towards her. Therefore, we had to keep them separated. Privileged Pets has done a wonderful job taking care of our Hershey in that they know and understand that the crazy outside dog, can never be let in to attack the normal inside dog. The last time she stayed in a kennel, they didn't give her the allergy shot she was supposed to have and didn't give her medicine according to instructions. I happened to see a trailer or truck with Priv. Pets on the side and called. I've been thoroughly pleased with both the care Cory receives and the extras, like turning lights on and off, bringing in mail, putting out garbage and watering plants. And last spring when we all came down with a stomach virus on the way home from vacation, it was such a comfort to call Priv. Pets and know they'd be able to take care of Cory until we were well enough to make it home. You guys are great!!! |

And Fiona's other half (I won't say better-sorry Jack) was fantastic when he worked with Tango and Pacer so that we could all learn (Mom included) to walk on the leash together. We have many great walks since then. |

Molly, a 14 yr. old arthritic Border Collie/Lab mix and Tipsy, a 13 yr old diabetic cat were as happy as could be when we got home. It is such a relief to know that we can leave town and they will be comfortable at home and cheaper than the vet, too. Thanks again. Every word is true. I can't thank you enough. Boarding at the vet was so traumatic for them. The cat's sugar level went thru the roof from stress the last time she was boarded, even with insulin. She gave us nightly emails to let us know how the day went, and even sent us pictures of the dogs playing. I felt very comfortable with her watching over our loved ones in our absence - This was our first time to do a pet sit, and we'll definitely do them in the future. Suzanne was the next best thing to us being there ourselves! I would highly recommend Pet Sitting!!! |

| Comment: | When we moved to Texas in December, finding a pet sitter was a high priority. Our previous pet sitter in Ohio was the best and I was afraid I would never find anyone to replace her. Wrong !! Brooke and Privileged Pets are even better. I feel very fortunate to have found someone who gives me the peace of mind to leave home and not worry about my 3 kitties and rabbit. Not only do they get the best care and attention, but so does our house, pool, etc. Brooke has already gone beyond the call of duty to handle an emergency that occurred while we were gone and saw it through to the end. We couldn't be happier and I would recommend Privileged Pets to the most particular pet owner. In fact, that might be me. |

| Comment: | Once again my experience with Privileged Pets was wonderful! I have been using their service for about 4 years and it has always been to take care of my cats, but this time I was asking them to take care of my 4 cats and 8 birds! The birds were left behind at my house when my son came home for Christmas last year. I'm not really a bird person but I have come to love them and wanted them to be well taken care of. Our sitter did everything I do and then some... the birds are very messy and tend to scatter seeds everywhere. I had just thought I would clean it all up when I returned, but our sitter Lisa did a great job of feeding and providing clean water AND cleaning up all the mess the birds tend to make. I was very pleased. Even the cats seemed happy when we returned and they always sulk for a few days when we get back. Overall Privileged Pets did a great job nd I would recommend them to anyone wanting their pets cared for while they are away!! |
