Jack has spoken to hundreds of groups such as, scouts & churches as well as schools in many districts where he emphasizes to the students & faculty, listen to your leader. He demonstrates the ability of the dog using both hand signals & voice commands. He has received awards such as "Officer of the Year" for distinguished service from the Texas Municipal Police Association, a state wide organization with approximately 9000 members. He has also received commendations for "Life Saving" and "K-9 Unit Citation" from the police department. Jack also received a Certificate of Congratulations from State Senator Jon Lindsey for being selected as the Officer of the Year. Jack is also a licensed police instructor through the State of Texas as well as former Department Trainer of Narcotics Dogs & Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Fort Bend County. Jack's passion was working together with his dog Egon. That has led him to what he is truly passionate about & that is training dogs. In his presentations to groups, the main focal point is teamwork. Life is about working together as a team. His training revolves around this philosophy. All dogs are descendants of the wolf. All wolves travel in packs, and every pack has a social order. In every pack there is a leader or "Alpha" wolf. In this type training method, the handler/ owner becomes the "Alpha," with the dog respecting the leader. Privileged Pets training programs are geared for dogs as young as 4 months old and basic on leash obedience training can be done in as short a time as 10 days.
